May 2014 — Vogue Brasil: "A Hit Overseas"
It all started with a cover-worthy issue: Vogue Brasil's Anniversary Edition (No. 429), starring Rihanna herself. Tucked inside, the magazine spotlighted a collaboration close to our hearts, under the headline "Hit Além-Mar" ("A Hit Overseas"):
"Far from the sand and the poolside, urban swimsuits have adapted beautifully to the city's concrete jungle, becoming a wildcard piece for this winter. São Paulo label Thelure jumped on the trend and invited Rio's own Nidas — the specialist in bodysuits — for a spot-on collaboration. The result: five styles in navy, black, red and off-white combinations, featuring cut-out or geometric details, crafted in lycra, available online and in Thelure stores from this month."
Vogue Brasil didn't just cover swimwear that season — it called out the bodysuit as the true winter wildcard, with Nidas named as the go-to specialist behind the craftsmanship.
August 2014 — Vogue Brasil Instagram: The Python Print Moment
A few months later, Vogue Brasil's own Instagram gave Nidas another shout-out, this time teasing a runway event at Shopping JK Iguatemi in São Paulo:
"This Saturday (08.09), @Thelure will take its Summer 2015 collection down the runway at Lounge One in JK Iguatemi, showcasing pieces built around a garden party theme. The label will also debut new bodysuits created through its partnership with @nidas_br — including this python-print piece, featured in a shot from the new campaign starring @CintiaDicker."
Sharing the frame with Brazilian supermodel Cíntia Dicker, our python-print bodysuit was the piece Vogue chose to put front and centre.
September 2014 — Vogue Brasil: Vogue Fashion's Night Out
That same year, Nidas featured again — this time in Vogue Brasil's official guide to Vogue Fashion's Night Out (VFNO), the magazine's biggest retail event of the year, headlined by an issue starring Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrósio. Under the Fabric & Co entry, Vogue wrote:
"Owlie the owl was the inspiration behind the prints on the brand's capsule collection of bodysuits, created in partnership with Nidas, which will be on sale on the day of the event."
A whimsical, owl-print capsule collection, born from a Nidas collaboration, and important enough to make Vogue's must-shop list for one of Brazil's biggest fashion nights.
January 2017 — Vogue.com.br: Winter Campaign Round-Up
Fast forward to 2017, and Nidas earned a standalone feature in Vogue Brasil's online round-up of the season's best national winter campaigns, "As Campanhas Nacionais de Inverno 2017." Here's what they said:
"Beachwear label Nidas, helmed by designers Marina Bandoli and Paula Cox, drew inspiration from Rio's Museum of Modern Art (MAM) to develop their Winter 2017 collection. The campaign was photographed by Raphael Figueiredo, styled by the designers themselves alongside Maria Lima, and fronted by model Eloisa Yamashita."
